Tiyambuke Notes: Follow These Steps To Possess Your Mountain!

God spoke to Moses after the children of Israel had cried unto God. Moses was then raised by God to deliver the children of Israel out of the hand of the Egyptians.

After many years he then sent 12 men to spy the land of Canaan. When the man came back they gave Moses a report of their mission and brought things that they had acquired in Canaan. But to the peoples surprise the report that they gave was not matching with the things that they were possessing. You need to know that in life there are things that are supposed to stay on the negative and also things that are supposed to stay on the positive; they ought not to be mixed.

Amongst the man, there were two who gave a different report altogether. They believed that God had given them Canaan and believed the word of the servant of God. They were faithful to Moses and every mission that they had been sent they would deliver. They never brought problems to the servant of God but they always brought solutions.

When Moses died Joshua became the leader and was elevated. Caleb despite the fact that he used to work at the same rank as Joshua before elevation continued to submit and serve Joshua as he served Moses.

If he was like other any other person there would have great contention.

According to Miriam Webster, a mountain is a landmass that projects conspicuously above its surroundings and is higher than a hill. Do not mistake a mountain to a hill because a mountain is elevated than a hill. So when we are talking about a mountain we are talking about elevation. God wants to take us to a place where things are high.

STEPS THAT WILL HELP US TO POSSESS OUR MOUNTAINS:

Caleb is a Hebrew word which meant faith, devoted and wholeheartedly. He was from the tribe of Judah which was the largest of all the tribes of Israel. He had a great history. Caleb never moved from the promises of God and kept hold of each and every word that was spoken over his life. There are things that Caleb did that enabled him to possess the mountain and these are:-

1. He Had A Different Spirit: It made him be different from all others and enabled him to see things differently. I remember apostle Sibiya preaching a message called it's ok to be different because there are times when we embark on missions and others remain behind. You do not serve God whilst you are sited you need to take action.

Caleb was a man of action and had a heart which was different from others. He knew how to submit and obey all the orders of his leader. Caleb understood the heart and the vision of his leader and he could see what his father was seeing.

When Joshua said its time to get Jericho he would run with what was declared. The bible said when peter had a dream he told the man that he was with that I saw a man in Macedonia crying for help and that we should go and help him out. In Glory Ministries, we were called to stand with the man of God.

When God spoke to the servant of God you were not there but the word birthed your existence in glory. For us to possess mountains we have to have a different spirit, Caleb carried the spirit of his leader, as you are going whose spirit are you going with? In whose voice are you going? As we are going to possess the mountains go with the spirit of your father.

What type of spirit is operating in you, Caleb did his duty wholeheartedly and accomplished it. Some of the missions that were placed upon our father’s life will not be done by him but by you, you have to represent him well and faithfully. There are certain places that need the grace that is upon the life of the servant of God.

The bible says in the book of Hosea 12:13 that by a prophet Israel was preserved, what will preserve you in tough times is the anointing upon the servant of God.

2. Caleb Had Faith: He believed in God. Faith is like yeast it gives the doll power to raise. It is like the currency of heaven, without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith believes in God for the impossible.

When the going got tough Caleb never drifted from the promises of God, he believed God and his servants. Our prosperity is in the servants of God. What shall preserve you in a harsh economy is the prophet of God (Hosea 12:13). When you have faith in God and the word that he speaks through his servants you will not suffer in times of tribulations.

Having faith in the servants of God is more powerful than praying on your own. In possessing the mountains God has given us grace through his servants, where you go place grace on the front.

Jehoshaphat and Israel won the battle through the guidance of the prophet; your battles are won by your father. You need to obey when our father speaks.

3. Caleb Was A Fighter: Fighters are never quitters and quitters are never fighters, you need to push hard to accomplish your goal and your God-given mandate. Usually, tiredness is a sign that you are getting there. For us to possess mountains we must fight to the end. You have to be patient because delaying is not denial.

Taking mountains is a spiritual thing it requires those that put spirituality ahead. Jesus fought tirelessly on the cross of Calvary and did not give up because a crown was waiting for him.

There are certain times when God brings war not because you have sinned but because he wants to see if you are faithful enough to fight to the end. Caleb defeated the giants of Anak because he knew that this was his mountain and he was going to possess it. Some perished and were buried but he fought to the end because fighters fight to the end.

4. Caleb Waited Upon The Prophetic Word: When God speaks a prophetic word he shows you what is ahead and does not show you the battles to it. Sometimes you should sit down and ask yourself what God has said over your life because the problem with us is that we hear the word and quickly forget what was said. The word spoken over your life is your destiny.

You need to water, confess, stand and declare upon that prophetic word and you need to seed to eat. The word says he gives seed to the sower.

God knows your struggles and fights in accomplishing his word and he rewards accordingly. Do not look at whatever is happening in your life. If joseph had refused to be sold and betrayed he would not have fulfilled the purpose of God over his life.

Caleb stands to Joshua and said now give me this mountain as a reminder that it was his promise and finally he deserved to partook of it. May God deliver you and place you where you did not deserve to be.
