God spoke to his servant and said you are now in the season of possessing mountains but as we are possessing the mountains it is not going to be easy.
Climbing a mountain is not an easy thing to do. When you are climbing a mountain you cannot smile, sometimes you get tired and sometimes you feel like crying. There are certain people who said we want to climb the mountain to fast and pray as they were climbing the mountain it became very hard because the devil does not allow us to possess mountains.
The devil is roaring seeking whom he may devour because he does not want us to possess the mountains. If you are not aware of the destructions of the devil you are going to be devoured by him.

You are going to shift your focus from possessing mountains to people and you blame them and say because they were saying this about me I could not do what I was supposed to do. Destruction is the principle rule of the devil that he uses to destroy the children of God, to weigh them down and shift their focus.
When you are fighting a battle you put all your focus on winning the battle, but when the devil brings destruction you shift your focus from the battle and start to focus on what people are saying and fail to accomplish your mission, yet God spoke to his servant and said this is the season of possessing mountains.
The devil repeats his strategy over and over again because he knows that if people continue to face the same thing repeatedly they easily give up. They will begin to ask where this God is and fail to believe what their God said and begin to doubt the season because you are facing challenges. It seems as if the season is not there yet it is there and if you are not aware of the devices of the devil he will bring destruction. The devil will use something that attracts you the most.

If a father who is married to a beautiful wife and has already possessed the mountain of the family if he fails to pray for his weakness you will see him not being satisfied and will start to have extramarital affairs, why? Because he is not aware of the destructions of the devil.
The devil can allow you to possess your mountain but if you fail to deal with your weakness he will tempt you in that area. You are born for a reason to possess your mountain of influence. If you do not take care of your weakness you are not going to possess your mountain.
There are certain people who entertain the mind of the devil in their lives, no matter how much the servant of God speaks they will not receive and begins to doubt. That is why destruction move and divert you so easily because it is customized specifically for you. There are certain destructions that are made only for you not for everyone else because we are called to possess different mountains.

If you are not aware of the destructions of the devil there are consequences that you are going to face. You will delay progress in your life, yes the mountain is there and God is saying take it but if you do not act you will delay progress in your life.

If you have a gift and you are not nurturing it, some of us know very well that they are called of God and we are running away from the call, running away from the mountain and continue to cry and cry yet your prosperity is in possessing mountains. If you fail to possess your mountain you will always be there to clap hands for others.
If you are not aware of the destructions of the devil you will live a life of regret and become unproductive and you will focus on the negatives around you and it will distance you from acquiring what was meant for you.
TOOLS THAT THE DEVIL USE TO BRING DESTRUCTION:
1. Lust: In Joshua7 we met a man called Akan who had a serious spirit of lust. If you have lust in your life you need to deal with it because it will destroy you. Akan because of lust partook of the accused things yet Joshua had instructed them not to. When he was taking he thought that no one was watching yet God was watching over them.
So God said to Joshua if you partake of the accused things the whole nation will be accused. There are certain people in the church who are always complaining yet they are carrying accused things. We pray for them and nothing changes because of the things that they are carrying.
There are certain people who go to the devils camp and take accused things thereby hindering the progress of many. Because of Akan man died and wealth was lost. If you are not aware of the destructions of the devil the mistakes of one man will hinder us from possessing our mountains. I believe that those that are in right standing with God the devil can not attack them because they carry the light of God, but however, sometimes they have to carry the weight of those that take accused things.
The excessive love of the things of the world will hinder many from acquiring the mountains destined for them. Instead of fulfilling the vision of God and people seeing it pass they are going to witness you being stoned by the devil and your power is drained. If you fail to obey the devil will bring destruction.
2. Criticism: Some people are so afraid of criticism and the devil uses that to stop them from possessing their mountain. Just one criticism or ill statement from the crowd will make them give up. We meet a man called Daniel in Daniel 6 the bible says he was a man with an excellent spirit yet he faced so many criticisms and continued to stand and believed his God.

We have pastors, elders and deacon that are no longer doing the work of God because they faced criticism. If you harbour the criticism of man you will die with nothing. If you are not aware of the destruction you will lose your conviction to sin. Sinning will become easy and focus is lost.
Caleb was able to possess his mountain because he continued to faithfully follow God and was obedient. If you remain focused and obedient you will surely possess your mountain!
