Before Jesus Christ chose his disciples, the twelve apostles, the Bible says He prayed all-night long.

And as we all know that an apostle (which is Apostolos in Greek) means 'God's Messenger' or 'Ambassador', and that is not an ordinary person... And after praying for so long, we see Jesus Christ choosing His disciples.

The most surprising thing are the kind of people Jesus chooses to be His apostles, and given our canal minds they are actually 'mistakes'. Take for example Peter, he was a person who would speak before thinking, had quick temper, very talkative, uneducated and above all a simple fisherman.

If we look at sons of thunder, James and John...these guys did not have a heart for people. At one time when Jesus Christ had been rejected in Samaria, these brothers said let us call fire from heaven to destroy people, and yet Jesus came to save that which was lost ... If you look at Andrew, unlearned fisherman... Phillip, very inquisitive... Matthew, tax collector, and these were the biggest thieves of that time... Simon the Zealot, very physical... Thomas, a doubting apostle..a man who wanted to see first before believing... And even Judas Iscariot whom the Bible defines as a thief, and Jesus actually appoints and ordains him the treasurer of His church...

And as Jesus prayed saying, 'Father do not let me choose the way the world chooses', He simply meant that no-one qualifies to be in the Kingdom of God ...!

Now when you look at this, you begin to realise that even I am not worthy to be called an apostle, you are not worthy to be called a pastor, you are not even worthy to sing in that praise and worship, you are not even worthy to be called a child of God, but the lame shall take the spoil!

The Tiyambuke International Christian Convention (TICC) is an annual gathering of Christian believers from various denominations, organized by Glory Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Pride and Anna Sibiya.

With its inception in 2001, TICC has grown to become one of the largest conferences in Zimbabwe.

The convention's name, "Tiyambuke," meaning "Let Us Cross Over," reflects its mission to lead people out of ignorance, sin, and bondage into a life of knowledge, love for God, health, prosperity, and freedom.
