Tiyambuke Notes: Tiyambuke Day 3 Official Opening Night
Scripture: Daniel 11:32, Philippians 3:5-11
You do not become a general over night. They are things that you must go through for you to become a general. For you to be a general you have to walk with God.
We have got a problem in the church today, the church is now full of knowledge, I’m not against knowledge but they are learned people who are leading people astray.The church is now filled with people who walk with big commentary bibles and are filled with knowledge, but the problem is that they are filled with knowledge but with no experience.
Christians today come to church everyday and they are always being taught but they lack experience. They always come to church to hear something new but not to have an encounter with God. You cannot become a kingdom general when the core reason why you come to church is prophecy, healing and revelation. Some come to mark the preacher’s grammar and some are there to mark where the preacher has misquoted the word.
When you come to church, come expecting to have an encounter with God. Do not be satisfied with knowing about God, but be willing to experience God. Its easy to be led astray by false prophets when you only know about God. Today we have people who are not committed to God but are rather committed to the church and the servants of God, that's why today the church is now filled with people who commit adultery because they are only committed to man and not God. Now we have people who are going to hell via church, they know how to play church. You must know what you are supposed to do, you can only play church but you will never play God. You know what is written in the bible and the devil does not have a problem with that because he will only allow you to know but will never allow you to do what you know.
In the educational system if you only have theory and no practical you will never be employed because theory without practical is dead, the same is with the kingdom of God it is useless to have only knowledge and not do what you know. Knowledge is not enough until you obey and do what you know.

They are times when the going get tough, it is your encounter with God that will keep you going. People who have an experience with God will never give up. It is not enough to know that he is the Healer and not experience the healing, it is not enough to just know that he is the provider you need to have an experience with the giver. Its not enough to have the God of the bible, he has to jump out of the pages of the bible and experience him. It is difficult to pray to a God that you heard about because when things get tough you will give up. You need to believe in a God that you have had an experience with. They are times when you fall sick and if you only know that he is the healer its hard for you to recover but when you have had an experience with the healer, your healing is certain. Those who know their God will do might exploits. The devil is a liar but when you have never had an experience with God it is hard for you to overcome to the lies of the devil.
Those who know their God shall do might exploits. Paul was a great theologian, he had the knowledge and knew everything about the bible. He was truly dedicated to his knowledge thinking that he was doing God a service, but when he had an experience with Jesus he changed from being a persecutor to be the preacher of the Gospel. Upon that knowledge he despised the knowledge of everything and sought to know God and only God
I'm looking for people tonight who truly want to know God, people who are tired of knowing that he is the healer, people who now wants to have an experience with the Healer.
God is looking for people who say I do not care what people say, I want to have an experience with God.
I'm looking for ladies like Hannah who say I will not be tormented for long, all I need is to see him that will change my life.
Do I have people who have lost the meaning of life, the only solution we have is Jesus who is waiting to have encounter with you.

The Tiyambuke International Christian Convention (TICC) is an annual gathering of Christian believers from various denominations, organized by Glory Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Pride and Anna Sibiya.
With its inception in 2001, TICC has grown to become one of the largest conferences in Zimbabwe.
The convention's name, "Tiyambuke," meaning "Let Us Cross Over," reflects its mission to lead people out of ignorance, sin, and bondage into a life of knowledge, love for God, health, prosperity, and freedom.
