The year 2018 marks four decades (40 years) of my father’s earthly breathe and existence; 23 years of his ministration of the undiluted gospel of Jesus Christ; and 17 years of the existence of Glory Ministries; the organisation where he is the founding father, incumbent president and presiding bishop.

Apostle Pride Sibiya, affectionately known as Chabod (Kabod) in Glory Ministries’ close circles, has fathered me for close to 7 years now, and for all that time I have come to partake, receive, be influenced, equipped, transformed and witnessed the full “Manifestation of God’s Glory on Earth” through the humble servant of the Most High. Without any shadow of doubt, I can testify that indeed my father is a Kingdom General who is busy 24/7 reproducing and “Building Kingdom Generals”.

Apostle Pride Sibiya was born to the late Stanley Sibiya and Lizzy Sibiya on 5 September 1978. He grew up as the only son in a family of three children, himself as the only boy anchored by two girls either side of his life. He is happily to Pastor Anna Tendayi Sibiya, and blessed with three daughters; Anouya, Anenyasha and Anaya. But how do I attest of the Godly commandant attributes of my father? How do I make the world understand Apostle Pride Sibiya as a Kingdom General? In my endeavour to do so, I will attest using the seven attributes I have witnessed first-hand both in his personal/family life and through his exemplary Kingdom Life.

Who is Apostle Pride Sibiya?

Apostle Pride Sibiya is a recognised Christian father figure renowned for the charismatic eloquence of his preaching and teaching. Having impacted the lives of believers and nonbelievers for the last two decades, Apostle Sibiya's name has also become synonymous with supernatural capabilities which inter alia include validated prophetic pronouncements, healing miracles and exorcism.

He is the founder and Executive President of Glory Ministries, a reform and renewal global Christian organisation that is redefining the religious terrain by its vigorous missionary flair dubbed explosive evangelism and its emphasis on equipping believers for service, building a family set up for its membership, spiritual worship and engaging in socially relevant activities.

A missionary genius himself, Apostle Sibiya increased the influence of Glory Ministries from a single congregation in 2002 with less than ten members until by 2017 Glory Ministries boasts of over 100 assemblies and a membership of more than five thousand parishioners spread across Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique, Bahrain and Zambia, which is not inclusive of the enormous virtual church comprising an online community adhering to his ministry mostly through social media platforms.

The Tiyambuke International Christian Convention (TICC) is an annual gathering of Christian believers from various denominations, organized by Glory Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Pride and Anna Sibiya.

With its inception in 2001, TICC has grown to become one of the largest conferences in Zimbabwe.

The convention's name, "Tiyambuke," meaning "Let Us Cross Over," reflects its mission to lead people out of ignorance, sin, and bondage into a life of knowledge, love for God, health, prosperity, and freedom.
